Am I eligible for NDIS support?
All you need is to call NDIS on 1800 800 110 to request an Access Request Form. In order to support your application, you will need health care reports or copies of any assessment. At Hand In Hand Care, we can help you understand the eligibility criteria for NDIS support.
What to do now that my plan has been approved?
All you need is to choose the best service provider that suits your needs. Once your plan is approved, begin contacting self and plan managed provider to begin receiving services that meet your care needs.
What is a Support worker/Care Worker?
A Care Worker is highly trained and qualified to provide support either in hospital, home, nursing or anywhere else.
How to know if my application has been processed?
After receiving your request form, you will be contacted by a local area coordinator for a meeting. Think about what support or care plan you need while you are waiting for this call.
Can I know about my plan management options?
Remember, plan management is an important decision. It refers to who manages your NDIS plan and funding. There are three options: self-managed, Plan Manager, NDIS managed.
What is an NDIS plan meeting?
This meeting can either be face to face or over the phone with the Local Area Coordinator or NDIS planner. In this meeting, you can also bring someone to support you in planning the meeting. It is all about knowing your goals and day-to-day life. Most importantly, you will be asked to choose a Plan Management Option during the meeting.
